While the site has yet to transact it understood Land Capital has paid a deposit and will shortly sign a contract to acquire it following the completion of a due diligence process. A bluestone house, known as Carome was built in the 1860s near a flour mill on the Plenty River. In 2009 Working Heritage acquired the Carome property and repaired and updated it for community use.
